Volunteer at Windwood

Every year, volunteers help Windwood with workdays, special events, learning opportunities and family support. We encourage you to help us expand our mission of providing help, hope and healing to children and families through volunteering!

Campus Work Days: Visit our 110-acre campus in Awendaw to help us beautify and clean up the property. Tasks include weed eating, hedge trimming, pressure washing, cleaning up gardens, organizing storage spaces, etc. Groups should have a minimum of 15 people.

Sponsor an Off-Site Experience: Sponsor an outing for the boys at the farm like a sporting event, Ghost Tour, ice skating, harbor cruise, bowling, movies, aquarium, and more. Windwood Staff will accompany the boys on these trips.

Special Events: Help with the setup, running, and cleaning up of events at the farm, including the Spring Carnival, Halloween Carnival, and Field Day.

Engagement and Learning: Utilize your specific skill set to provide new learning experiences to our boys such as sports, technology, creative arts, etc.

Community-based Services: Help us serve over 500 families in our community each year by organizing our resource shed, coordinating donation drives, performing administrative tasks, and supporting our community-based case managers.
